Horse chiropractor or equine therapist?

People searching for a horse chiropractor and people searching for an equine therapist are often describing the same worry: the horse feels stuck. The professions are not the same. Fascia Horse trains and lists fascia therapists. They are not chiropractors.

What a horse chiropractor does

A horse chiropractor works on joints and the spinal column, often with a quick adjustment. Many owners book one when a stride feels locked or the pelvis looks uneven. That is a different visit from a fascia treatment, which does not adjust joints.

What an equine therapist means here

Equine therapist is a broad label for someone who treats horses and is not a veterinarian. In the Fascia Horse directory it means a certified therapist who assesses the horse in motion and treats fascia with the Atlasbalans machine. An equine massage therapist in the same search is usually trained in hands-on muscle work. Read the profile before you book so the method matches what you want.

Equine physiotherapy sits beside both

Equine physiotherapy covers assessment, exercise, and rehabilitation. In the UK it is a distinct profession. Fascia treatment can sit inside a rehab plan after the veterinarian and, where relevant, the physiotherapist have set the direction. It is not a substitute for either.
